Awesomeness and Near Heartache
Mar. 10th, 2007 02:49 pmSaw the 300 last night. Jesus Tapdancing Christ that was a great movie. Spectacular even. Especially the bodies....dear LORD!
In other news, I nearly lost one of my horses this morning. I woke up to my grandmother yelling that Robbie was laying down in the field and wouldn't get up. He was laying down in the middle of the field, groaning. After I made sure that nothing was broken, I basically sat there and held his head in my lap until he felt good enough to stand. I spent 2 hours with him, walking him around, grooming/comforting him before the fool vet finally decided to get here. That in itself took three hours. So far, he looks like he's in the clear but I'm just about to head back down and see how he is.
*sigh*
