As someone who has no bias towards either team, that was an amazing fucking game.
But omg as a Mavs fan I'd probably want to stab myself in the head with an icepick.
There was a similar-type game that the Jazz played against Memphis earlier in the year. From the outside looking in, it was a great great game but holy shit I was about ready to hop a plane to Utah and tie the Jazz together and throw them to the bottom of the Great Salt Lake, which would take a lot of effort, with it being so salty. But I was that goddamn angry at them for losing.
That being said though, it was the exact same thing, media-wise, which was partially why the loss made me so inexplicably upset and frustrated! Every single game they've played has been treated as a barometer for their ENTIRE SEASON and it pisses me off. They can't just lose a game and have it be that, a loss. I'm so sick of hearing "overachieving" and "fluke" with my Jazz, just like I'm sure the Mavs fans are sick of hearing "choke" and "soft" and afdsifk now I'm mad too.
This was supposed to be all...lighthearted. Goddamn you, basketball.
