Randomness, a Meme, Facebook Lulz...
- I'm entirely too amused by the Harry Potter Spellcasting application on facebook. I've already tripped someone, used Levicorpus, and made someone burp slugs. *evil chuckle* Wait...does that make me James Potter?!
- Spent some money at Borders today. Purchases include the TMNT CGI movie (WOOT!), Gryffindor and Slytherin magnets (I know I'm a dork. Hush.), and the Border's exclusive Snape figure (yes, pathetic, obsessive fangirl right here *points to self*). I love retail therapy. Borders was also having a book drive so I also bought HP7 for them to give to someone in need. Made me feel really good. I have an extra copy of HP7 at home that I may also donate tomorrow.
- I also purchased Snapes wand from the Noble Collection, one of my favorite collectors sites. Pics forthcoming.
- Speaking of Snape, I LOVE my new journal layout. I had been in the market, as it were, for a new layout and this one suits me to a T. *sighs as she looks at her refurbished journal*
- I was gratified to see a very well-written letter that will be "signed" and sent to LJ regarding the recent baninations etc. It was more of an appeal for communication rather than a flame war seeking retribution for bannings or even debating the nature of the art in question. If anything will get their attention, I think this might. I'll post it once it gets edited.
- A meme!! Taken from

How many times has someone on your friends list posted about something and you were really confused, but you didn't want to ask because you knew you SHOULD know?
How many times have you felt 'guilty' asking an LJ friend a question that should be 'obvious'?
Well, here's your chance.
If you've missed a few things, missed an entry and are confused, ask me anything. Even something EXTREMELY basic, like where I live! I'm not allowed to get even slightly irritated at any of the questions - we've all missed things before. Even if there are things you don't think you've missed, but you're just curious about, go ahead and ask. I'll answer any question...or questions, if you're curious about more than one thing or are new to my flist.

God, that is such a beautiful, beautiful lay-out. I'm almost jealous. Almost, because I love my babies too much. *grins*
It's gorgeous, and damn Snape for being so awesome. (And damn Alan Rickman for being so sexy...)
Lovely.

And yes, you should be proud of your babies! But yes...Snape (and of course, Alan Rickman) is a walking streak of sex.
Have you ever seen Sense and Sensibility? Rickman is in that and there is this ONE scene that makes me swoon every time...

It's amazingly pretty. :)
Hehe, he is, especially when he's walking! Swoosh, the robes go. *giggles*
Of course I have! XD It's a classic. Read the book, seen the movie. I was hitting Kate Winslet over the head the entire movie. Talk about bad taste. ;)

Isn't it wonderful? OH man, when I see the part where he's leaning up against the wall all rain-drenched and desperate, saying "Give me something to do or I will go mad!" I swoon EVERY time. EVERY time, I say.

He hates the 'swish and flick' work, but his cape sure swishes excellently. ;)
Alan makes me swoon whatever he does. The voice, the eyes, the intensity. GUH.
