Do you ever have those days when you really want to post about something but really don't have a whole lot to report?

Yeah, today is one of those days.   My iPod started working and after several days of puttering with it, it ACTUALLY synched up to iTunes!! Trust me, this is a first.  I figured that I should go ahead and restore it.  There was also a software update for iPod so I was hoping that this might fix Poddy's problem.  Unfortunately, the update/restore never completed.  It froze up and when I tried to resync, got the same problems.  DRAT!!

Well, its progress anyway.

In other news, some ideas are buzzing about in my  head about a Sylar redemption fic.  I may post notes about it on here later.

Last night I played poker until late in the evening and had some good hands.  My best hand was a full house; three Kings and 2 nines! Hotness.

Ummm, I'm sure I'll have something more significant to say later but for now, hugs and kisses!

I'd love to hear your idea on a redemption fic. I actually started and never finished one where Peter and Sylar's roles were reversed. In that, Sylar was the hero and Peter was the killer. Gabriel's power was a little different, as was Peter's, who I gave a cool, serial killer name. You also got the feeling that some ripple in time made that bullshit happen... I had a lot of ideas for that one. I need to work on it again.

Oooh, I love your idea too. Id love to hear more about it or see some snippets if you felt comfortable doing that.

Right now, its starting off in medias res as a conversation between Peter and Sylar. The heroes are about to stand off against the Boogeyman and Peter realizes that they just dont have enough proverbial firepower to take down the Big Baddy. Peter (possibly with Mohinder's insight) realizes that they need Sylar's special ability to figure out how things work in order to take apart the Boogeyman; my fic starts (in this initial draft) with Peter trying to convince Sylar that they need his help...and that there is ultimately still good in him. Sylar somewhat seems to listen. My goal is for their to be a final showdown in which Sylar and Peter have to double team to take him down. Eventually, its going to come down to Sylar being the Big Damn Hero thanks to Peter's hope, purity, and faith.

Again, its just in the first stages and of course, I'd love to hear/have your thoughts and input.

I love that idea! It reminds me a lot of the plots we see in comics where a hero must reluctantly approach their enemy to try and foil and even greater enemy. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." <3

Yeah, its an idea that I can actually SEE happening if, as Molly says, the Boogeyman is worse than Sylar could ever be. Sylar would be a powerful ally; no one could take down the team of the Vampire and the Sponge! ;^D
