Worst. Lyrics. EVER! Meme

Well, I was sitting here listening to my iPod here at work when a song came on from the Daredevil OST, a song by Nappy Roots called "Right Now".  It opens up with probably the WORST opening lyrics ever: 

"If the world was my oyster, baby girl, everyday would be Red Lobster..."

Yeah, those are...yeah.  Then, I started thinking about other songs on my iPod that well, quite frankly should never be considered for a Grammy in songwriting.  Lyrics like: 

"Baby let me be your tour guide/I'm your burger, you my fries"  (Diddy "Diddy Rock", a song which is FILLED with awfully stupid lyrics but is set to a GREAT beat and features some GREAT rapping from Shawnna.) Stupidest metaphor ever.  Seriously, if some dude was trying to woo me by saying I could be fries to his burger?  In the words of Pink, it's just you and your hand tonight.

"You've got to press it on you/You just think that it's what you do, baby. Hold it down, Dare."  (Gorrilaz "Dare", a GREAT dance song) Wait, what?  This song is great but WHAT are you talking about?

"Who got the Hooch, baby? Who got the only sweetest thing in the world? Who got the loooove, Who got the freshy, Fresh-E?"   (Everything, "Hooch")  One of my favorite songs of high school, the lyrics make me raise my eyebrows every time. 

And the cream of the crop (and one of my VERY guilty pleasures)....

"And I know lies would only hurt her/And I would never deceive her in that way/But either way, she'll end up crying./  And I'd sooner walk away and let her love again/But anyway, our loves dyin'.... "  (Bret Hart, "There's Never Been a Right Time to say Goodbye").  Yeah, Bret Hart "singing" a ballad.  Shatner and Nimoy's spoken albums would go quadruple platinum next to this dog.  Aww, screw it, all the lyrics to this song are amazingly bad.

My FAVORITE AC/DC song has one of the most nonsensical lyrics ever. "Nervous Shakedown", which contains this brilliant line:

"Double parole, if you survive!"

Last I checked, parole means a supervised release from prison. So how does one double parole? Double sentence, sure ... but double parole?

*falls over laughing* Oh jeez, I remember that Bret Hart song...and the album. I had a friend who was a rabid Bret Hart fan and she used to torture me with it...constantly. He made such a jackass out of himself with that.
