Alright my dear flist. I have a puzzle for you all to ponder. A snippet to analyze.
"What is Love?
The need to emerge from oneself.
Man is an animal which adores.
To adore is to sacrifice and prostitute oneself.
Thus all Love is prostitution."
Discuss.

Dating most certainly is.
Think about it, typically, in the stereotypical date, the man covers everything. All food, all drinks, all forms of entertainment. All with one goal in mind, usually, some form of physical reciprocation, be it kiss, or more intimate.
Lets look at the scenario. Girl wants to appeal to the general male populace, so she may wear certain clothes, or certain makeup. Guy then thinks girl is hot and sexy. Guy then takes girl out and spends money to gain her time and attention.
Is that a date? Or is that picking up someone off the street?
Because it isn't specifically paying for sex as an act, it's not "prostitution." However, if one really examines the art of dating, isn't it really exactly that? We just attach more meaning to it becuase there are several factors and distractions before leading up to the ultimate finmale, which is sex?
